The Memorial Service for Pete will be on Saturday, June 12th at 10:00A.M. at Christ Church-Lutheran,
I (Pete’s wife) want thank each of you for your prayers, cards and hugs that
you have given to us over the past year and a half as Pete struggled with this
disease; they, were truly meaningful to us, and gave us courage and fortitude
during the good and the bad days.
We are putting together a binder to hold stories and reminisces that people
have sent us about Pete. We would love to have you email an experience or
meaningful time you had with Pete to include in the binder—others will enjoy
reading about the great, or small, moments in his life. There will not be
a spontaneous sharing time in the service, so this binder will provide the
opportunity for sharing.

due to surgical complications. He hopes to be released by Friday.

Please pray for strength and comfort for Del Ellis (weekend # 95)
as he prepares to begin undergoing chemo treatments.
He will start the chemo in 10 days.
Please also pray for his family, that they too find the strength and
comfort of God
as they help

Please pray for my dad, Pastor Steve Bergeson (Cursillo # 25) of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church? His mother, Bev Bergeson, joined her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 20 after a long battle with cancer. She was a woman of great faith and strength, and will be dearly missed by her family and friends. We praise God that she has claimed His promise, and that she is at rest with the Lord.
Her memorial service is on Monday, April 26th at Grace Lutheran Church in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin.

I have a prayer request for my husband,
was taken in for an emergency appendectomy. The surgery went
well and
he is being released from the hospital today. He will be returning to
his cousin's house, I am not sure at this time when he will be able to
come home. I feel totally helpless with him being a thousand miles
away but I know that Our Lord is with him and that gives me peace and
strength. My husband is not a Cursillista, but
God be praised he was
to become a member of our church on Easter Sunday. Chances are slim
that that will come to fruition, but it will happen in His time. So
my request is for a swift recovery so that he can come home to us and
safe travels when that time comes and for peace and strength for me
and my children.
